General Program Requirements
Credit-Hour Requirements
The program is a 30-credit hour degree program. It is intended for
those who wish to achieve mastery at the highest professional level in
Interactive Technology.
Costs
Check the current rates for courses, because they are subject to change
each year. Some extra costs may be
expected for materials required to meet some course requirements.
Compare this to e-learning universities and major universities. Some
charge as much or more per hour than we do for an entire course!
This
is extremely inexpensive, especially if you compare it to earning a
degree in residence. Check
the tuition costs.
Books, Software and Equipment
Textbooks are extremely expensive and add significantly to educational
costs. While some courses may require texts, we have attempted to do so
only when absolutely necessary. Much information can be found on the
Internet or posted by the instructor rather than requiring students to
purchase unnecessary materials. We use standard software and only
require students to acquire additional software when it is an essential
tool that should be available to the student for course work and future
professional applications. Even then, however, we attempt to select
freeware and shareware whenever possible to hold costs to a
minimum. Students are expected to have basic hardware and
software.
Residence Requirements
There are no residence requirements, no on-campus
orientation meetings, and no final meeting on campus. You may take all
courses online. Students may live anywhere and participate if
reliable Web access (Cable or DSL) is available. Students must
own your computer system and software, e-mail account, and have an
Internet Service Provider.
